The Facility Operations Assistant will support the day-to-day functions of plant operations by coordinating production activities and ensuring adherence to safety and compliance standards.
This role will assist in maintaining facility and equipment oversight and serving as a liaison between departments to resolve operational challenges efficiently.
Operational Support
- Monitor progress toward KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and recommend process improvements. Safety & Compliance:
- Conduct facility safety inspections and help enforce safety protocols.
- Support audits, training programs, and ensure adherence to OSHA and company EHS guidelines.
Facility & Equipment Oversight
- Monitor equipment performance and escalate maintenance issues.
- Ensure proper upkeep of workstations, tools, and infrastructure.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed. Cross-Functional Liaison:
- Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and HR teams to resolve operational challenges.
- Facilitate communication between the FGM and other department leaders.
