Role Description
- The Facility Engineer is a part time, hybrid role based in Dubai, with a combination of on site responsibilities and some work from home flexibility.
- The role involves overseeing day to day facilities operations, ensuring equipment and systems run safely, reliably, and efficiently.
- Key tasks include planning and executing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, coordinating with vendors and service providers, and supporting facility upgrades and sustainability initiatives.
- The Facility Engineer will also help maintain compliance with local regulations, document maintenance activities, and collaborate with event and operations teams to ensure facilities are prepared for shows and demonstrations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Facilities Engineering and Facilities Operations to manage building systems and technical infrastructure effectively.
- Candidates should possess skills in Facility Management (FM) to coordinate services, vendor relationships, and overall facility performance.
- Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance to diagnose issues and implement proactive maintenance plans.
- Relevant experience in industrial, commercial, or event facility environments, preferably with exposure to sustainability or recycling related operations.
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, with attention to safety, compliance, and operational reliability.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Dubai, manage time independently, and communicate clearly with cross functional teams.
- Technical diploma or degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or related field) or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
