Key Responsibilities

  • · Lead, motivate and develop the Estates Maintenance team.
  • · Coordinate internal engineering resources and external contractors.
  • · Develop and maintain engineering maintenance strategies.
  • · Monitor maintenance performance through KPIs and maintenance systems.
  • · Take technical ownership of critical infrastructure and statutory compliance.
  • · Manage contractor governance and engineering service performance.
  • · Provide technical expertise to projects and capital investment programmes.
  • · Support sustainability and energy reduction initiatives.

Skills

  • · Strong technical leadership and people management capability.
  • · Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • · Commercial awareness and sound decision-making ability.
  • · Experience using maintenance KPIs to drive improvement.

Experience

· HNC/HND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

· Time-served apprenticeship.

· Management experience.

· Experience managing engineering teams, contractors and compliance.

· Full UK driving licence.

Additional Information

Full-time (35 hours per week), Dundee based with travel across the estate as required. Participation in out-of-hours escalation arrangements may be required.
