The Telecommunications - Equipment Installer (Facilities Operator) is responsible for the installation and maintenance of telecommunication equipment at a variety of Beanfield equipment locations.
This includes fibre, transport equipment and all critical infrastructures within these equipment offices.
This role will provide high-quality service in these technical spaces including data centres, telephone switch centres, central office wire centres, and designated enterprise spaces.

· Hardware Operations: Install, modify, and decommission telecom facility equipment, including cable trays, telco racks, cabinets, servers, switches, routers, fuse panels, and telco-grade battery systems.
· Cabling & Power: Measure, route, terminate, and label AC/DC power cables, fibre optic cables, and wires across facility infrastructure spaces.
· System Turn-Up: Execute test-and-turn-up procedures and integrate new network hardware into live production environments.
· Technical Compliance: Read and interpret complex engineering blueprints, schematics, system specifications, and Methods of Procedure (MOPs).
· Testing & Validation: Conduct system performance testing for hardware and software to evaluate efficiency, reliability, and integration compatibility.
· Critical Power & Backup Systems: Maintain and test -48V DC power plants, rectifier systems, battery banks, UPS units, and emergency standby generators.
Perform routine load testing and fuel management.
· Environmental & Facility Controls: Monitor HVAC, CRAC units, and temperature/humidity control systems within active switching and server rooms.
Conduct routine inspections of fire suppression systems and physical facility integrity.
· Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, power, and connectivity issues as they arise.
· Quality Assurance: Perform in-process and post-installation quality validation audits to ensure strict adherence to industry standards.
· Maintain complete operational documentation, including daily status reports, project logs, and administrative records.
· Perform other facility operations duties as required.

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. The salary range indicated includes a Short Term Incentive Plan (“STIP”) which represents a percentage of your Base Salary based on the achievement of individual and corporate objectives; The STIP payment is calculated based on a formula that takes into account several factors, including, without limitation, corporate and individual performance measures. The STIP payment is conditional upon meeting all of the STIP’s eligibility requirements.
