Facilities Management Manager

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement facilities management strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee maintenance, repair, and upkeep of buildings, infrastructure, and facility systems.
• Manage facility budgets, expenditures, and vendor contracts.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and service providers to resolve facility issues.
• Inspect facilities for maintenance needs, safety hazards, and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, health and safety, and environmental requirements.
• Plan facility improvements, renovations, and upgrades.
• Maintain emergency response plans and protocols.
• Supervise facilities management staff and promote continuous improvement.
• Track industry trends and technology advancements in facilities management.

Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge of facilities management, maintenance operations, and safety regulations.
• Leadership and management skills for operations, budgets, and staff.
• Communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder and vendor coordination.
• Project management, budgeting, and contract negotiation skills.
• Problem-solving and attention to detail.
• ERP knowledge is required, with SAP functional skills preferred.

Experience and Education

• At least 8 years of working experience.
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience.
• GCC experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree.
