Job Purpose
Manage overall Facilities Management operations for safe, reliable, and efficient operation and maintenance of buildings, MEP systems, equipment, and facilities.
Ensure compliance with contractual, statutory, and HSE requirements.
Facilities and MEP Operations
- Manage daily Facilities Management and MEP operations across assigned facilities.
- Ensure effective operation and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, firefighting, BMS, and other building services.
- Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Manage planned and reactive maintenance and emergency breakdowns.
Team and Contractor Management
- Lead maintenance teams, technicians, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal departments.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and contractual compliance.
- Develop and mentor the FM/MEP team.
Performance and Cost Control
- Monitor maintenance schedules, work orders, KPIs, SLAs, and response and resolution times.
- Prepare maintenance, operational, and performance reports and dashboards.
- Control costs, manpower, materials, spare parts, and service contracts.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and annual maintenance planning.
Compliance and Improvement
- Ensure compliance with HSE, statutory, authority, and company requirements.
- Conduct inspections and identify energy-saving, cost-reduction, and operational-improvement opportunities.
- Maintain asset registers, maintenance records, documentation, and CAFM systems.
- Lead emergency response and resolve critical facility issues promptly.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- 10–12 or more years of Facilities Management or MEP experience.
- At least 3–5 years in a Facilities Manager, FM Manager, or Senior FM role.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, BMS, firefighting, and building services.
- Experience managing maintenance teams and subcontractors.
- Strong knowledge of preventive and reactive maintenance, CAFM, and SLA/KPI management.
- Strong client-management, leadership, communication, and reporting skills.
- Arabic language proficiency is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of CAFM or CMMS systems is preferred.
- GCC or Qatar experience is preferred.
- CFM, FMP, IFMA, NEBOSH, IOSH, PMP, or relevant MEP/HVAC certifications are preferred.
Compensation
- Pay is QAR18,000–QAR20,000 per month.
