- Develop and implement the overall Facilities Management strategy, policies, and operational procedures
- Provide leadership and oversight for all FM activities, including hard services, soft services, maintenance, and asset management
- Ensure efficient operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of facilities and infrastructure
- Manage departmental budgets, cost controls, forecasting, and financial performance
- Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary FM teams to achieve operational excellence
- Coordinate with internal departments, clients, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery
- Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, innovation, and best practices in facilities management
- Prepare management reports, operational analyses, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership
- Oversee vendor and contractor performance management to ensure contractual obligations are met
- Support organizational goals through effective resource planning and risk management
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Facilities Management
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior management or leadership position
- Professional certifications in Facilities Management will be an advantage
- Strong understanding of Facilities Management principles, strategies, and industry best practices
- Proven ability to develop and implement policies, procedures, and operational frameworks
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Sound knowledge of Health, Safety, Environmental (HSE), and regulatory compliance requirements

Position Overview
- We are seeking an experienced and strategic Facilities Management Director (FM Director) to lead all facilities management operations for a major project in Saudi Arabia.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for developing FM strategies, overseeing day to day operations, managing budgets and resources, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, and driving operational excellence across all facilities services.
- The FM Director will provide leadership to multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the achievement of organizational objectives while maintaining high standards of service delivery.
