Role Overview
TSMC Arizona is developing advanced semiconductor fabrication facilities using N4, N3, and N2 process technologies.
The Facilities I&C Engineer designs, installs, maintains, and optimizes systems that monitor and control facility temperature, pressure, flow, and level.
The role works with sensors, controllers, communication networks, and FMCS to support safe and efficient semiconductor facility operations.

Role Overview
TSMC Arizona is developing advanced semiconductor fabrication facilities using N4, N3, and N2 process technologies.
The Facilities I&C Engineer designs, installs, maintains, and optimizes systems that monitor and control facility temperature, pressure, flow, and level.
The role works with sensors, controllers, communication networks, and FMCS to support safe and efficient semiconductor facility operations.
Design and Implementation
- Design, configure, integrate, implement, repair, and troubleshoot facility PLC and SCADA systems.
- Calibrate instrumentation field devices and manage PLC control panels, ladder logic, instrumentation loops, network communications, alarm management, and SCADA systems.
- Support I&C systems for HVAC, water treatment, and gas and chemical distribution systems.
Installation and Maintenance
- Oversee initial installation and commissioning of I&C systems and ensure they are calibrated and functioning correctly.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to support facility operations.
- Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of I&C systems.
