Position Overview
TSMC Arizona operates advanced semiconductor fabrication facilities and leading-edge process technology in Phoenix.
The Diffusion Engineering Manager directs engineering and manufacturing operations within the Diffusion department.
Multiple positions are available.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide managerial oversight for process excellence and production efficiency.
- Manage and supervise improvements in module processes and equipment.
- Lead initiatives to enhance wafer quality and productivity.
- Coordinate with Process Integration, Manufacturing, Yield Improvement, and Cross-Module teams to sustain high-quality output.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering staff through structured career development plans.
- Set departmental priorities, allocate resources, and evaluate performance metrics.
- Establish policies and procedures that promote efficiency, safety, and compliance.
Education and Experience
- A master’s degree or foreign equivalent in a listed engineering field or related field plus 3 years of engineering experience is required.
- Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in a listed engineering field or related field plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate engineering experience is required.
