Return.Finance is seeking a part-time, on-site Facilities Engineering Manager in Dubai to oversee office and technical infrastructure maintenance, vendor coordination, and compliance with UAE regulations.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and reliability of the company’s physical office and technical infrastructure
- Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers
- Monitor building systems such as HVAC, electrical, access control, and safety equipment
- Develop and update facilities policies and procedures
- Manage facility related budgets and procurement
- Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with workplace, IT, and security teams to support business continuity
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Facilities Engineering, including building systems, utilities, and infrastructure performance
- Hands on experience with Facilities Operations and Facility Management (FM), including vendor coordination and space utilization
- Proven ability to design and implement Preventive Maintenance programs and schedules
- Demonstrated Maintenance Management skills, including work order management, asset tracking, and maintenance documentation
- Knowledge of Dubai and UAE building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations
- Experience managing budgets, contracts, and service level agreements for facilities and maintenance services
- Strong problem solving, prioritization, and decision making capabilities
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Professional certifications in facilities or maintenance management (e.g., IFMA, CFM, FMP, PMP)

Role Description
- This is a part time, on site Facilities Engineering Manager role based in Dubai. The Facilities Engineering Manager oversees the operation, maintenance, and reliability of the company’s physical office and technical infrastructure, ensuring a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment.
Responsibilities
- Planning and supervising preventive and corrective maintenance
- Coordinating with vendors and service providers
- Monitoring building systems such as HVAC, electrical, access control, and safety equipment
- Developing and updating facilities policies and procedures
- Managing facility related budgets and procurement
- Ensuring compliance with local health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Collaborating closely with workplace, IT, and security teams to support business continuity and enable a productive on site experience
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Facilities Engineering, including building systems, utilities, and infrastructure performance.
- Hands on experience with Facilities Operations and Facility Management (FM), including vendor coordination and space utilization.
