How You Will Do It

Plan and schedule day-to-day facilities maintenance activities across the site.

Coordinate work orders from request through to successful completion.

Arrange and oversee subcontracted services, ensuring work is completed safely and to specification.

Raise purchase orders and coordinate the procurement of parts, materials and services.

Manage and maintain the site compliance calendar, ensuring inspections, servicing and certifications are completed on time.

Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with site health, safety and environmental requirements.

Coordinate contractor inductions, permits and site access arrangements.

Maintain accurate facilities, compliance and contractor records.

Liaise with internal stakeholders to prioritise facilities requirements and resolve site-related issues.

Support audits, inspections and continuous improvement initiatives relating to facilities management and compliance.

Required

University degree with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, or a 2-year degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience in facilities coordination, maintenance planning, contractor management or a similar role.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Knowledge of health, safety and statutory compliance requirements within an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and experience maintaining records and documentation.

Ability to work independently and proactively manage workload.

Beneficial

Experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of facilities management systems or CMMS software.

Experience managing compliance schedules and contractor control processes.

IOSH, NEBOSH or other relevant health and safety qualification.

Understanding of permit-to-work systems and contractor management best practice.
