Controls Engineering interns will have the opportunity to work on factory controls and automation systems that provide crucial support to manufacturing operations.
They will gain hands-on experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), SCADA systems, field instrumentation, motor drives, industrial networks and more.
They will work in cross-disciplinary settings, often working alongside other facilities mechanical, electrical, and chemical teams on projects to improve the automated control and remote monitoring of their respective systems.

Qualifications
- Minimum Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Curious & teachable attitude
- Basic understanding & exposure to introductory programming (e.g. structured text, ladder logic, function block diagram, etc)
- Basic understanding of data acquisition & measurements (e.g. analog signals vs digital signals, various instrumentation types and their implementation)
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
- Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
- Ability to build strong, influential relationships
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
- Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
