Process Operative
Reporting to: Digital Supervisor
Location: Standfast & Barracks, Lancaster
We're looking for a Process Operative to support with quality performance and a quick turnaround on samples/fents for either bulk or design colourists. To conduct tasks required from the digital supervisor or leaders within the department. The purpose of this role is to be a instrumental part to the general output and KPIs of the digital print department, however, if cross training is required across the site, this is an expectation to the needs of the business.
KEY Responsibilities:
Operate the Digital print machine.
Understand and follow all Digital Print SOP’s.
Maintain a high level of quality performance.
Follow performance structures and plans.
Keep machines clean and in good condition
Prompt and carry out Thermoplast duties.
Follow all Safety measures
Follow all SOP’s
Maintain a clean environment within the digital area.
Ability to work shifts and be flexible within reason.
If asked, help complete general stocktakes across the digital zones.
Take part in general project takes when required.

Feedforward goals and objectives
Quality and Output with digital prints (Personal and team)
Quality targets across digital.
Achievement of NCR completion
Performance management structure reviews to be in line with requirements.

CONNECTING WITH OTHERS
Connect with all areas of the team and communicate effectively and efficiently.
Close working relationship with the colouration team, batching and printers across the shift.
Connecting with the Digital Supervisor on performance, quality and general objectives etc.
Work with the Digital team to improve H&S, Quality and general housekeeping and performance.
Provide support to printers, colourists, and operatives throughout.
Good communication with the design team and colourists, mainly focused around sampling.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Experience in manufacturing is desirable
General Computer skills are essential
Understanding of Quality control
Working in a production environment
Good communication skills
Strong relationship skills and building of relationships.
Digital print background preferred
