Working primarily with visual cues and freehand cutting to precisely cover sculpted pieces with minimal seams and irregularities. The Foam Applicator I has a demonstrated ability to perform duties with direction and under the supervision of the Team Lead and Manager, and has a basic understanding of role processes, tools and technologies.
Apply EVA foam sheets per SOP to sculptures and shapes, filling gaps as needed.
Produce a high quality replication of the production and detail drawing.
Prepare products for polyurethane base-coat application, including sanding.
Use, maintain and clean sanders, spray guns, knives, and other equipment as required.
Maintain records of labor time and materials used, and record appropriately.
Maintain a clean and safe work area; observe and follow proper safety practices.
Other duties as assigned.
