Role Overview
The Fabrication Data Analyst plays a critical role in enabling data-driven decision making across the Sheet Metal, Busbar, and Powder Coating operations.
This role owns the collection, analysis, and visualization of fabrication performance data, including OEE, utilization, scrap, labor efficiency, and capacity.
The analyst partners closely with the Director of Fabrication, Operations Managers, and the Fabrication Engineering team to support process implementation, standardization, and control.
This role ensures that MES and OEE data are translated into timely, actionable insights that drive throughput, cost reduction, and continuous improvement.
Reports to Director of Operations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Manufacturing Technology, or related technical field.
- 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing analytics, operations analysis, industrial engineering, or similar role.
- Strong experience with ERP systems (Infor SyteLine preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and data visualization tools.
- Strong skills in SQL, data manipulation, and database structures are an asset.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, preferably in metal fabrication (sheet metal, busbar, powder coating).
- Familiarity with OEE, MES, and machine monitoring systems is preferred.
- Experience supporting process implementation, process control, or standard work documentation is an asset.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear recommendations and actions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence operational leaders through data storytelling.
