F&B Waitress

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests in a warm and professional manner.
• Present menus and provide information about food, beverages, promotions, allergens, and ingredients.
• Take orders accurately and communicate them efficiently to kitchen and bar teams.
• Serve food and beverages according to hotel service standards.
• Set up and maintain tables and service areas before, during, and after service.
• Handle guest requests, feedback, and concerns professionally and inform the supervisor when required.
• Recommend menu items and support upselling opportunities.
• Process bills and payments accurately according to hotel procedures.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, grooming, and health and safety standards.
• Attend departmental briefings and remain updated about hotel activities, VIP guests, promotions, and operational requirements.
• Coordinate with kitchen, stewarding, front office, and other departments.
• Handle hotel equipment, glassware, crockery, and supplies carefully and support other F&B operations when required.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a waiter or waitress, preferably within a hotel or restaurant environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong guest-service orientation and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Professional grooming, presentation, and a calm, courteous approach during busy operations.
• Positive attitude, genuine hospitality interest, and a proactive approach.
