Work setting
- The position is based in a hotel food and beverage operation.
- The role involves direct guest service in dining and service areas.
A day in the role
- Welcome guests and provide attentive service from start to finish.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and record special requests.
- Serve food and beverages with high presentation standards and smooth timing.
- Set up, clean, and reset tables and service areas.
- Prepare beverages, including basic barista drinks and non-alcoholic refreshments.
- Assist with inventory and restock service supplies.
- Maintain hygiene, health, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for seamless service.
What we need from you
- A friendly, professional approach and passion for positive guest experiences.
- Clear communication skills with guests and colleagues.
- Attention to detail, particularly for order accuracy and food presentation.
- A team-focused approach and willingness to support others.
- Flexibility and energy for fast-paced and peak-period service.
- Prior food and beverage service experience is a plus, but willingness to learn is welcomed.
