Your day to day
Lead and support the Food & Beverage team to deliver exceptional guest experiences across all outlets
Supervise daily operations of the restaurant, bar, in-room dining, and events service areas
Ensure service standards, food quality, and presentation consistently meet InterContinental brand expectations
Conduct team briefings, allocate duties, and provide on-shift coaching and support
Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly resolve feedback and service recovery opportunities
Assist with onboarding, training, and development of Food & Beverage colleagues
Drive sales through menu knowledge, upselling, and promotional activities
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, grooming, and workplace presentation
Support rostering, labour management, and departmental productivity goals
Monitor stock levels, ordering, stock rotation, and inventory control procedures
Ensure compliance with food safety, liquor licensing, and workplace health and safety requirements
Work collaboratively with kitchen and hotel teams to deliver seamless service
Assist the Restaurant Manager with achieving departmental revenue and performance targets
Complete administrative and operational tasks required to support the department's success
What we need from you
Previous experience in a Food & Beverage supervisory or leadership role within a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment
A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and leading teams
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive and professional approach
Demonstrated ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
