About the Role
AROUND THE BLOCK INVESTMENTS LLC is seeking a Junior Cost Controller with mandatory F&B restaurant experience and hands-on knowledge of Tevalis POS and inventory management. The role involves outlet audits, cost analysis, inventory control, and collaboration with operations to optimize costs.

Responsibilities
- Conduct regular outlet audits and spot checks to identify fraud and take necessary actions
- Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly cost reports, identifying discrepancies and recommending corrective actions
- Work closely with operations to improve portion control, reduce wastage, and optimize inventory levels
- Perform supplier price comparisons, invoice verification, and purchase analysis
Requirements
- Mandatory experience in F&B restaurants with multiple outlets
- Hands on experience with Tevalis POS and inventory management system
- Strong knowledge of food costing, beverage costing, recipe costing, menu engineering, and inventory control
- Experience conducting stock counts, variance analysis, and inventory reconciliation
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and reporting functions
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with operations and finance teams
- Strong organizational and time management skills
