Position Summary

Guest and Dining Operations

• Answer phones, take dining reservations, and enter diner information into the reservation system.
• Maintain the wait list, quote accurate wait times, and make seating decisions using the station rotation chart.
• Organize seating for large and special-needs groups.
• Greet guests, determine party size, and seat guests at clean, available tables.
• Guide guests through dining rooms and provide assistance as needed.
• Ensure place settings include clean menus, napkins, silverware, and other standard items.
• Maintain clean work areas and monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, and safety.
• Communicate with guests and employees to meet guest needs and support teamwork.

Team and Safety Support

• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Follow company, safety, and security policies and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions.
• Complete safety training and certifications, maintain professional appearance, and protect confidential information and company assets.
• Welcome guests according to company standards, communicate professionally, and maintain positive working relationships.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and move objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience is required.
• No license or certification is required.
