- Qatari national
- 2+ years of relevant tax experience in ITTS, Indirect Tax, Corporate Tax, or Tax Compliance
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Law, Economics, or related field
- Strong understanding of GCC tax frameworks (corporate tax and/or VAT)
- Proficiency in English and Arabic

Job description

- This is an exciting opportunity for Qatari nationals to join EY Qatar’s growing Tax practice within International Tax & Transaction Services (ITTS), Indirect Tax (IDT), or Global Compliance & Reporting (GCR).
Your key responsibilities
- Provide high quality tax advisory, compliance, and reporting support to clients across ITTS, IDT, or GCR service lines.
- Manage day to day client engagements, prepare technical deliverables, and assist senior team members with tax analysis and communication.
- Contribute to project planning, research emerging tax issues, and ensure accurate, timely execution of tax assignments.
To qualify for the role
- Qatari national with 2+ years of relevant tax experience in ITTS, Indirect Tax, Corporate Tax, or Tax Compliance.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Law, Economics, or related field.
- Strong understanding of GCC tax frameworks (corporate tax and/or VAT).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Progress toward a professional qualification (ADIT, CPA, CMA, ACCA, or similar).
- Experience working with multinational clients or on cross border projects.
- Good knowledge of ERP systems for tax compliance and reporting.
