This position is tasked with the efficient and safe operation of different types of specialized extrusion equipment.
This position is required to maintain accurate and legible production reports.
Extrusion operators are responsible for machine set ups, changeovers, selecting dies and changing dies up to 10 per day.
Extrusion operators are responsible for all quality related aspects of our internal and industry (UL, NSF) specifications prior to shipping or being ran through any secondary processes.
Operators will handle basic troubleshooting of the various extruders and auxiliary equipment, conduct daily preventative maintenance checks, and elevate any issues to the Area Lead if they are not able to address it themselves.
Safely operate moving equipment to move pallets of product to proper location.
Operators are expected to be active in our continuous improvement program to help make the business more successful.
