Role Overview
The External Investment Manager will develop and manage HNW and UHNW client relationships across the UAE and GCC.
The role combines client acquisition, wealth management solutions, portfolio growth, relationship management, and regulatory compliance.
The successful candidate will work with senior management, investment professionals, and advisory teams.
Responsibilities
- Build and grow a portfolio of private clients and generate new business through existing relationships and networks.
- Understand client objectives, financial needs, and risk profiles and develop tailored investment solutions.
- Manage relationships from acquisition through ongoing portfolio management and grow assets under management.
- Develop relationships with private banks, family offices, asset managers, and other financial institutions.
- Maintain client engagement, provide high service levels, and ensure applicable regulatory compliance.
- Contribute to the firm's growth in the UAE and wider GCC wealth management market.
Job Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in wealth management, private banking, EAM, asset management, or investment advisory.
- An established HNW or UHNW client network in the UAE or GCC.
- A proven record of acquiring and developing client relationships, generating new business, and growing assets under management.
- Strong knowledge of investment products and wealth management solutions.
- Understanding of the UAE and DIFC wealth management landscape.
- Strong communication, networking, and relationship-management skills.
- A commercial, entrepreneurial, and independent approach with the ability to manage a client book.
- Relevant professional qualifications are advantageous.
