Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking an Applications Developer (Expert) to design, develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and AngularJS. The ideal candidate will bring strong full-stack development experience, a commitment to software quality, and the ability to collaborate effectively within an Agile/Scrum environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications and services.
- Develop secure, scalable, readable, and maintainable software.
- Troubleshoot application defects and production issues and provide ongoing support.
- Participate in technical design decisions, code reviews, testing, and software releases.
- Collaborate with customers, product owners, Scrum Masters, QA engineers, and development teams to clarify requirements and deliver solutions.
- Support and enhance existing applications, including legacy systems.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation.
Agile/Scrum:
Participate actively in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
Collaborate with product owners and team members to define, estimate, and deliver user stories.
Contribute to continuous improvement and alignment with product goals.
