Role Overview
The Shift Executive manages end-to-end floor operations at a distribution centre during assigned shifts.
The role covers receiving, quality checks, inventory handling, picking, packing, staging, dispatch, productivity, compliance, and service levels.
Shift Operations
- Manage inbound receiving, quality checks, storage, picking, packing, staging, and dispatch operations.
- Monitor operational timelines and ensure smooth execution throughout the shift.
- Coordinate with last-mile teams to support timely and accurate order fulfilment.
Inventory and Quality
- Oversee inventory handling and quality processes for fresh and perishable inventory.
- Monitor inventory checks, shrinkage, wastage, discrepancies, and operational controls.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and follow cold-chain, hygiene, and warehouse procedures.
People and Productivity
- Lead floor associates and operational staff during assigned shifts.
- Plan manpower allocation, monitor productivity, and drive operational discipline and workforce efficiency.
