Position overview
Sales Executive role supporting guest service, reservations, revenue generation, and Sales and Marketing operations.
The position is full time and non-management at the Palm Jumeirah property in Dubai.
The role is not remote and involves working at the hotel location.
Core responsibilities
- Resolve guest calls, requests, questions, and problems through coordination with Sales, Data Administration, Accounting, and other departments.
- Use sales techniques and upselling to maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty.
- Process reservations, changes, cancellations, guest requests, and Marriott Rewards point redemption requests.
- Enter Marriott Rewards information into the appropriate software when taking guest reservations.
- Perform filing, emailing, typing, faxing, and other office duties supporting Sales and Marketing.
- Assist management with training and motivating employees while serving as a role model.
- Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, respond professionally, and maintain positive working relationships.
- Monitor performance to ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
- Follow company policies, protect company assets, maintain confidentiality, and uphold professional appearance standards.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
