Responsibilities
- Support underwriting activities for new corporate and SME group health business
- Review member census, claims experience, benefits structure, and underwriting information for quotation preparation
- Prepare quotations within underwriting guidelines and delegated authority limits
- Coordinate with brokers, sales/BRM teams, TPAs, and internal departments for new business requirements
- Assist in pricing analysis, benefit comparison, and technical assessment of risks
- Ensure accurate documentation and policy setup requirements prior to onboarding
- Maintain quotation trackers, MIS reports, and underwriting records
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations including DHA, DOH (HAAD), MOHAP, and internal underwriting policies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in insurance, Business Administration, Finance, Medicine, or related field
- 3+ years of health underwriting experience with strong exposure to Corporate Group Health in the UAE
- Strong understanding of UAE health insurance regulations and market dynamics
- Professional insurance qualifications (ACII, CII, LOMA or equivalent) preferred
- Analytical skills and eye for details
- Excellent communication skills (written/verbal)
- Ability to interpret complex information

Role Overview
- To assist in health insurance underwriting activities with a strong focus on Corporate Group Health, ensuring profitable growth, regulatory compliance, competitive pricing, and effective risk management in line with UAE market practices.
Corporate / Group Health Underwriting
- Support underwriting activities for new corporate and SME group health business.
- Review member census, claims experience, benefits structure, and underwriting information for quotation preparation.
