The Opportunity
The Ministry of Education is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to serve as Executive Director, Education Funding.
Reporting to the Assistant Deputy Minister, this senior leadership role provides strategic direction for provincial education funding, financial policy, governance, and accountability for Saskatchewan's PreK-12 education sector.
The Executive Director leads the development and implementation of funding models, education finance policies, and accountability frameworks that support equitable educational opportunities for students across the province.
The role provides expert advice to senior government leaders, including the Deputy Minister, Minister, and Treasury Board, and builds collaborative relationships with school divisions, municipalities, Indigenous organizations, educational partners, and other government ministries.
