The Opportunity
Ministry of Highways, Operation and Maintenance Division, Northern Region is seeking an individual to fill a Permanent Full-Time position as Supervisor of Operations in the Athabasca Area in Northern Saskatchewan.
In this position, you will be responsible for monitoring contractors performing maintenance of provincial highways, and the construction and maintenance of ice roads.
Your duties will include supervising contractors; approving work activities; reviewing invoices and daily work records; testing ice road capacity; and provide technical expertise in the administration of maintenance contracts.
You will also be required to monitor the achievement of objectives and ensure quality standards are met.
