Overview

• Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an accomplished Executive Director Commercial to lead and oversee all commercial activities related to significant Construction Development within Qiddiya.
• This senior leadership position will play a critical role in driving the commercial strategy, managing high-value contracts, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects that align with Qiddiya's vision and objectives.
• The Executive Director Commercial will be responsible for steering commercial operations, contract negotiations, risk management, and stakeholder engagement across a large-scale construction development projects.
• You will lead a dynamic commercial team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on delivering value, efficiency, and compliance.
• Key Responsibilities* Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies that support project and company goals.
• Lead negotiations and management of contracts, ensuring favorable terms and risk mitigation.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to optimize project commercial performance.
• Collaborate closely with project directors, legal teams, and external partners to manage commercial risks and opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement in commercial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and transparency.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities to the commercial team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional qualifications (e.g., RICS, MCIOB) are highly desirable.
• 15+ years of experience in commercial management within the large-scale construction development sector, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven expertise in contract negotiation, commercial strategy development, and risk management.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing multi-million dollar project budgets and forecasts.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex, and multicultural environment.
• Experience with Middle Eastern construction markets and relevant regulatory environments is preferred.
• Proficiency in commercial management software and project management tools.
