About the Role
We are looking for an Executive Chef to direct all kitchen activities at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Doha. You will manage kitchen operations, develop your team, ensure food quality and safety, and contribute to budgeting and menu development.

Responsibilities
- Direct daily kitchen activities, plan and assign work ensuring right staffing numbers
- Develop your team and improve their performance through coaching and feedback
- Drive a great working environment for teams to thrive
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication with other departments
- Encourage guest feedback to improve guest satisfaction
- Answer guest questions about dishes and kitchen services
- Help the Food and Beverage In Charge with event planning
- Keep an eye on competitor activity / industry innovation to develop own ideas
- Ensure food and ingredients are secure and stored safely, minimize waste
- Follow governmental regulations and company policies and procedures
- Complete forecasts, plans, and departmental production reports for management
- Help prepare the hotel’s annual budget and set departmental goals
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a reputable establishment
- Extensive knowledge of culinary arts, cooking techniques, and international cuisines
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent understanding of food costing, inventory management, and budgeting
- Proficiency in hygiene and food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP)
- Creative flair with a passion for developing new dishes and menus
- Relevant culinary degree or certification

What we need from you
