About the Role
Crowne Plaza Hotel is looking for a Food & Beverage Order Taker to be the first point of contact for guests placing orders. Responsibilities include taking orders, entering them into POS, coordinating with kitchen, and processing payments.

Responsibilities
- Greet guests courteously and take food & beverage orders in person, by phone, or via electronic channels
- Accurately enter orders into the POS and confirm special requests, dietary needs, and allergies
- Provide menu information, make appropriate recommendations and upsells to enhance guest experience
- Coordinate with kitchen, bar and service teams to ensure orders are prepared and delivered on time
- Verify order accuracy before handoff and manage remakes or corrections when needed
- Process payments and follow cash handling and POS procedures
- Monitor stock levels, report out of stock items, and assist with basic inventory tasks
- Maintain a clean, organized order station and up to date menu/price information
- Follow health, safety and sanitation standards at all times
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or customer service training is a plus
- Previous experience in food service, cashier, or front of house role preferred (0–2 years acceptable for entry level)
- Comfortable using POS systems and handling payments accurately
- Ability to communicate clearly in the local language; additional languages an advantage
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain required permits/certifications as mandated locally
- Friendly, patient customer service attitude, good attention to detail, and ability to work well under pressure

Overview
- As our Food & Beverage Order Taker, you’ll be the friendly first point of contact for guests looking to enjoy our food and drink offerings.
- You’ll help create seamless, satisfying experiences through accurate ordering, clear communication, and warm service.
A little taste of your day to day
- Greeting guests courteously and taking food & beverage orders in person, by phone, or via electronic channels
- Accurately entering orders into the POS and confirming special requests, dietary needs, and allergies
- Providing menu information, making appropriate recommendations and upsells to enhance guest experience

What we need from you
