The Lutheran High School Association of St. Louis is seeking to hire an Executive Administrative Assistant for its Lutheran North Middle & High School Campus. Summary: The Executive Administrative Assistant provides high-level administrative support to the Head of School and the Principal within Lutheran North’s Main Office. Serving as the office coordinator and a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. This position is responsible for handling complex, high-level tasks, including conducting in-depth research, drafting reports and memoranda, preparing professional presentations, and distilling critical information to support decision-making. Success in this role requires exceptional tact, discretion, and diplomacy, as well as initiative, sound independent judgment, and a comprehensive understanding of office and administrative procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Perform a wide range of highly responsible, confidential, and technically complex administrative office duties for the Head of School and Principal. 2. Familiar and adept at explaining various programs, policies, and activities, including sensitive and controversial issues. 3. Coordinate scheduling and logistics for the Head of School and/or Principal, including appointments, agenda preparation, board reports, and travel arrangements. 4. Serve as the contact and liaison for assigned functions and programs with other departments and staff, the general public, outside agencies, and organizations. 5. Perform a variety of special projects and research assignments as assigned by the Head of School and Principal. 6. Create, organize, manage, maintain, copy, and/or scan a variety of files and records, manuals, resource materials, and confidential files as assigned. 7. Prepare reports as needed. Compose, edit, and proofread confidential correspondence, reports, and other complex documents to ensure accuracy and professionalism. 8. Occasionally, provide backup support for website content updates to ensure the information is current and relevant. 9. May support other Department Directors and Managers as needed with special projects. Skills/Qualifications: 1. Attention to Detail: Focus on information to identify what needs to be done, corrected, or brought to light. Ensure accuracy in all tasks and documents. 2. Problem-Solving: Develop creative solutions, make last-minute decisions, and evaluate strategies for completing tasks. Demonstrate good judgment in addressing challenges. 3. Critical Thinking: Analyze situations and respond appropriately, making informed decisions to support Lutheran North, Head of School, and Principal. 4. Project Management: Plan, organize, and manage projects effectively, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks. 5. Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality in all tasks and communications. 6. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks 7. Computer and data entry expertise – experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Docs preferred; experience in graphic layout and design is an added plus Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, or any combination of related education, experience, certifications, and licenses that will result in a candidate successfully performing the essential functions of the job.
