Responsibilities
- Carry out client and house orders in line with market conditions, internal risk parameters, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor markets, manage order books, and ensure accurate and timely execution across relevant exchanges and trading platforms
- Coordinate with sales, risk, and operations teams
- Optimize execution strategies
- Maintain detailed trade records
- Help manage trading risks and support pricing decisions
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance execution quality and client service
Requirements
- Strong understanding of financial markets, trading products, and execution workflows, ideally within Rates
- Proficiency with trading platforms (Fidessa ideally), market data systems, and order management tools
- Solid quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Attention to detail in trade capture, reconciliation, and documentation
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to make disciplined, time sensitive decisions and manage multiple orders simultaneously
- Understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks and best practices in trade execution
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or related field
- Prior experience in an execution or trading support role, preferably within a global broker, bank, or trading firm, ideally in Listed Derivatives and Rates
- Fluency in English

Role Description
- The Execution Trader will be responsible for carrying out client and house orders in line with market conditions, internal risk parameters, and regulatory requirements.
- This full time role based in Dubai or London involves monitoring markets, managing order books, and ensuring accurate and timely execution across relevant exchanges and trading platforms.
- Day to day tasks include coordinating with sales, risk, and operations teams, optimizing execution strategies, and maintaining detailed trade records.
- The Execution Trader will also help manage trading risks, support pricing decisions, and contribute to process improvements.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of financial markets, trading products, and execution workflows, ideally within Rates.
- Proficiency with trading platforms (Fidessa ideally), market data systems, and order management tools.
- Solid quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills.
- Attention to detail in trade capture, reconciliation, and documentation.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to make disciplined, time sensitive decisions, manage multiple orders simultaneously, and remain composed under market volatility.
- Understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks and best practices in trade execution and market conduct.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field; professional trading or market qualifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in an execution or trading support role, preferably within a global broker, bank, or trading firm, ideally in Listed Derivatives and Rates.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills relevant to regional markets are a plus.
