The Event Planner is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and executing events from concept to completion. This includes managing budgets, selecting venues, negotiating with vendors, developing event timelines, and ensuring all logistics are in place to deliver a seamless and memorable experience for attendees.
The Event Planner is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and executing events from concept to completion. This includes managing budgets, selecting venues, negotiating with vendors, developing event timelines, and ensuring all logistics are in place to deliver a seamless and memorable experience for attendees.
Collaborate with the Team to define event objectives, themes, and goals
Develop detailed event plans, budgets, and timelines for National Events
Source and manage vendors including venues, caterers, and AV providers
Coordinate event logistics such as transportation, accommodations, and on-site staffing
Manage event registration processes and communications
Oversee setup, execution, and breakdown of events
Travel for National Roadshows
Co-ordinate, apply for and issue CE credits for all National events within two weeks following the event
Assist with administrative tasks
Evaluate event success through feeback and post-event reports
Co-ordinate advisor X-Mas gifts, including sourcing, purchasing and sending
Assist with planning internal sales meetings
Post-secondary education obtained at a credited community college
