Role Overview
The Event Manager will lead wedding-event sales and client relationship activities for Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi.
The role reports to the Director of Commercial and coordinates with relevant hotel personnel.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets for wedding events.
- Identify new business through prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
- Build relationships with wedding planners, event coordinators, and other industry stakeholders.
- Conduct site tours and present hotel facilities, amenities, and wedding services.
- Create customized wedding packages and proposals with catering and events teams.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing while protecting profitability and following hotel policies.
- Manage clients from initial inquiry through post-event follow-up and provide exceptional service.
- Track industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demand related to wedding events.
- Maintain sales activity, client interaction, and revenue forecast records using CRM software.
- Support marketing and promotional activities and represent the hotel at industry events and trade shows.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel Management, or a relevant discipline.
