Position Summary
The Event Booking Center Executive handles guest calls, requests, questions, concerns, and reservation activity.
The position works with Sales, Data Administration, Accounting, and other departments to resolve guest needs.
The role uses sales techniques, including upselling, to maximize revenue and maintain guest loyalty.
Reservations and Guest Support
- Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
- Enter Marriott Rewards information into the appropriate software during guest reservations.
- Process requests for redeeming Marriott Rewards points.
- Answer, record, and process guest calls, requests, questions, and concerns.
- Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, and address guest requests professionally.
Sales and Office Support
- Promote brand awareness internally and externally.
- Determine and provide approved complimentary items or rewards for guest patronage.
- Perform filing, email, typing, faxing, and other general office duties supporting Sales and Marketing.
- Contact appropriate departments to resolve guest calls, requests, and problems.
