Overview of the Role

Lead technical management of home and public EV charging infrastructure across Saudi Arabia.

Act as the technical accountability point between field contractors, internal stakeholders, and KSA regulatory bodies.

Support charger uptime, customer satisfaction, and network expansion under the Charge2Moov network.

Field Operations and Technical Support

  • Resolve customer complaints on AC home chargers and DC public chargers across assigned sites.
  • Perform diagnostics, fault rectification, and corrective maintenance within agreed SLA windows.
  • Execute software upgrades, firmware patches, and configuration management on AC charger hardware.
  • Perform Level-1 maintenance and structured fault diagnosis on DC fast-chargers.
  • Support commissioning and functional testing before technical sign-off.
  • Conduct site surveys and technical readiness assessments before DC charger installation.

Installation Oversight and Compliance

  • Coordinate certified contractors to schedule and supervise AC and DC charger installations.
  • Monitor compliance with technical specifications, electrical safety standards, SASO, SE, and MOMRAH requirements.
  • Review workmanship, raise non-conformance items, and track closure through final acceptance.
  • Manage civil, electrical, and networking interfaces on installation projects.
  • Ensure supervised installation activities avoid safety or regulatory non-compliance incidents.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Submit technical reports covering installation progress, commissioning status, and field findings.
  • Produce site survey reports, commercial quotations, and technical snag lists.
  • Maintain maintenance logs, fault registers, and resolution records for charger assets.
  • Compile weekly and monthly dashboards for uptime, faults, contractor performance, and installation milestones.
  • Document escalation cases with root-cause analysis and corrective and preventive action recommendations.
  • Retain field records accurately in the designated document management system.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Liaise with Business Development, Aftersales, Commercial, contractors, and vendors on technical matters.
  • Escalate technical issues appropriately and track follow-up actions to closure.
  • Support procurement with technical input on bills of materials, scopes of work, and contractor evaluation.
  • Represent EV Charging Engineering in site meetings, client walkthroughs, and regulatory inspections.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Power Systems, or a related technical discipline.
  • 3–6 years of field experience in EV charging systems, electrical infrastructure, or power distribution.
  • Hands-on experience with AC Type 2 and DC fast-charger hardware from relevant OEMs or equivalent.
  • Proven contractor supervision experience across multi-site installation programs.
  • Working knowledge of Saudi Energy utility requirements, SASO standards, and MOMRAH EV mandates.
  • Familiarity with basic networking for connected charger infrastructure.
  • Valid KSA driving licence and willingness to work across the Kingdom.
  • Business-level English is essential; professional Arabic is advantageous.
  • Professional certification in EV charging, power electronics, or electrical safety is advantageous.

Required Skills

  • Strong diagnostic capability for AC and DC EV charging hardware.
  • Solid grounding in LV/MV electrical safety and site installation methodology.
  • Structured analytical problem-solving and root-cause analysis.
  • Clear technical communication and reporting.
  • Effective contractor and vendor coordination.
  • Independent field execution across multiple sites.
  • Comfort building weekly and monthly performance dashboards.
  • Resilience, flexibility on working hours, and willingness to travel extensively.
