Role Overview
The employer is seeking a detail-oriented Estimation Engineer with a strong background in the real estate sector.
The role supports residential, commercial, and mixed-use development projects through accurate cost estimation and project budgeting.
Cost Estimation and Analysis
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for all phases of real estate development, from conceptual design to final construction.
- Estimate civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and finishing costs.
- Conduct quantity take-offs from architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and specifications.
- Analyze project specifications, tender documents, contract terms, and project scope.
Collaboration and Procurement
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and clients to gather information and clarify project details.
- Obtain and evaluate competitive bids and quotations from subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
- Assist in preparing tender documents, contract agreements, and procurement strategies.
Cost Management
- Maintain a database of historical costs, material pricing, labor rates, and equipment costs.
