Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed BOQs from drawings and specifications
- Review architectural, structural, MEP, and interior fit out drawings
- Conduct quantity take offs and material quantity calculations
- Prepare accurate project cost estimates and tender submissions
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
- Analyze project specifications, contract documents, and scope requirements
- Prepare value engineering proposals and cost saving alternatives
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and project management teams
- Attend site visits and pre bid meetings when required
- Maintain a database of material rates, labor costs, and subcontractor pricing
- Ensure estimates comply with project budgets and timelines
- Prepare commercial and technical proposals for clients
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 2–3 years of UAE experience in Interior Fit Out, Joinery, Renovation, or Construction Estimation
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity surveying, and cost estimation
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
- Experience in pricing fit out projects such as offices, restaurants, retail shops, clinics, villas, and commercial spaces
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tenders simultaneously
