The Estimation Engineer prepares accurate cost estimates, tender submissions, and commercial proposals for prefabricated and modular construction works.
The role covers prefab buildings, modular cabins, containers, steel structures, site offices, accommodation units, warehouses, and related MEP and fit-out works.
The position coordinates with Design, Procurement, Production, Projects, and Finance to support timely and compliant offers.
Key responsibilities
- Review tender drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract documents to identify project scope, technical requirements, risks, and discrepancies.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for prefabricated buildings, modular cabins, portable cabins, site offices, and accommodation units.
- Prepare estimates for toilets, pantry units, containers, container modifications, steel structures, and interior fit-out works.
- Coordinate with suppliers and review technical drawings and specifications.
- Prepare competitive quotations that comply with project requirements and company standards.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience as an Estimation Engineer.
- Relevant experience in interior fit-out or related prefab, modular, container, or steel-structure work.
- Additional qualification in Quantity Surveying or Estimation is preferred.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 3,000–AED 4,000 per month.
Workplace and employment
- The job is full-time.
- Work is performed in person in the UAE.
