Join our Team as an ESS Development Engineering Co-Op !
We’re seeking a motivated Electrical Engineering Co-Op to join our team in Summer and/or Fall 2027 ! This co-op hands-on experience in where you’ll work on meaningful projects and gain insight into the next generation of clean energy technologies – including lithium-ion batteries, hydrogen fuel cells, industrial chargers, and hydrogen fueling stations. You’ll gain hands-on experience in real-world design and testing. This is not a role where you’ll just observe – you’ll be solving problems, learning tools, and contributing directly to exciting projects in the energy and mobility space. You’ll collaborate with the Rochester Development Center team, as well as mentors and leadership, building skills that will help launch your career!
Assist in the design, analysis, and testing of energy storage and power conversion products.
Perform hands-on testing and troubleshooting in labs and on prototype vehicles.

This is an in-person role located at our Rochester, NY office—ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.
Wage - $20.50 per hour & up. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
