Conduct routine inspections, fueling, greasing, and fluid refills on equipment
Complete minor maintenance and promptly report any safety or mechanical issues
Use hand tools and operate equipment to meet daily operational needs
Maintain a safe and clean work environment through regular housekeeping and maintenance activities
Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production priorities and cross-train in other positions as needed
Adhere to all MSHA and company safety regulations
Perform other duties as assigned
3–5 years’ experience operating heavy equipment, including excavators, dozers, blades, and front-end loaders
Background in the aggregate or mining industry is a strong asset
History of working with power tools, welders, cutting torches, chains, and necessary safety devices
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in small teams with a self-motivated, productive attitude
Basic mechanical and math skills, plus the ability to conduct minor repairs and routine equipment maintenance
Comfortable with 12-hour shifts and weekend work as required
Experience operating heavy equipment in a plant environment preferred
High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
