Responsibilities
- Supervise the erection and installation of BESS containers, battery racks, PCS, transformers, HVAC systems, fire suppression systems, cable trays, and associated mechanical equipment.
- Review mechanical drawings, layout drawings, erection procedures, and vendor documentation before execution.
- Coordinate with civil, electrical, and commissioning teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure equipment installation complies with project specifications, approved drawings, and OEM recommendations.
- Verify foundation readiness before equipment installation.
- Monitor alignment, leveling, grouting, torque tightening, and equipment positioning.
- Supervise heavy lifting activities involving cranes, trailers, and rigging equipment.
- Coordinate with vendors during equipment installation and testing.
- Maintain daily progress reports and installation records.
- Participate in inspection requests (IRs), quality inspections, and punch point clearance.
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures, method statements, and ITPs.
- Support pre commissioning and commissioning activities.
Requirements
- Experience in erection and installation of BESS containers, battery racks, PCS, transformers, HVAC, and fire suppression systems
- Ability to review mechanical drawings, layout drawings, and vendor documentation
- Knowledge of heavy lifting activities involving cranes and rigging
- Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, method statements, and ITPs
- Understanding of HSE policies and permit to work requirements
