Minimum Position Requirements

• Master's degree or higher in one of the following: Public Health Epidemiology Biostatistics Or a closely related field approved by USAFSAM/PHR.

• Strong knowledge of epidemiology, biostatistics, and public health principles.
• Experience utilizing public health surveillance systems and the ability to work with: Disease Reporting System internet (DRSi) ESSENCE MHS GENESIS DOEHRS-HC Individual Longitudinal Exposure Record (ILER) Aeromedical Services Information Management System (ASIMS) Envision
• Disease Reporting System internet (DRSi)

• Working knowledge of R and/or Stata.
• Experience conducting epidemiological studies and statistical analyses, including: Descriptive statistics Measures of association Statistical significance testing Predictive and regression modeling

• Experience developing research protocols and preparing Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions.
• Ability to complete or maintain required certifications including: HIPAA Training Scientific and Technical Information (STINFO) Training Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) Training
