As the Environmental Engineer you will provide day-to-day environmental support to manufacturing, maintenance and operational teams across the Springfields site.
You will focus on ensuring compliance with permit requirements, supporting operational activities, identifying environmental risks and implementing practical solutions that maintain environmental performance.
You will spend significant time within operational areas working directly alongside plant teams.
Operational Support
Provide environmental support to operational and maintenance teams.
Participate in plant walkdowns and inspections.
Identify environmental risks and support corrective actions.
Support operational teams in implementing environmental controls.
Compliance & Monitoring
Support environmental monitoring programmes.
Assist with environmental reporting and permit compliance activities.
Monitor compliance with permit conditions and environmental standards.
Support environmental inspections and audits.Waste & Resource Management
Support management of radioactive and conventional waste streams.
Assist with waste minimisation initiatives.
