Support Corporate Environmental program and permitting needs across the broader STERIS organization.
Prepare permit applications, develop air emissions inventories/calculations, complete regulatory reviews, and develop air permitting strategies within STERIS corporation
Develop environmental compliance plans and programs such as SPCC, SWPPP, contingency plans, regulated waste management, and spill response plans.
Assists in developing and maintaining 14001 programs across the STERIS corporation
Perform environmental assurance visits (collaborative audits) and provide improvement recommendations
Support audits at affiliated Treatment, Storage and Disposal Facilities (TSDF).
Gather data and complete environmental reports and metrics
Assist in environmental training activities as necessary, including training development and presentations.
Conduct multi-media environmental audits.
Deliver technical project work in the areas of and environmental compliance (e.g., water, waste, air, emergency planning).
Support and provide environmental awareness and compliance training and coordinate online training for personnel at all levels of the organization, which may include large group training session.
Work with manufacturing teams to ensure safe handling of chemicals. Work cross functionally to fully engage employees, contractors, and vendors in the HSE process, expectations, and requirements
Assist in miscellaneous HSE Department tasks including ad hoc support for other STERIS processing and/or manufacturing locations.
Travel as required to STERIS corporation locations for support. Estimated travel up to 20%
Ability to work remote up to two days a week
