Troubleshoot and optimize chemical processes and manufacturing systems to improve operational performance. Analyze process data to identify opportunities for increased efficiency, reduced variability, and improved product quality. Review process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), mass and energy balances, and process specifications.

Evaluate process capabilities and implement solutions to improve yield, throughput, and reliability. Support process scale-up activities from laboratory or pilot operations to commercial manufacturing. Reduce waste, energy consumption, and manufacturing costs through data-driven initiatives. Identify and implement automation and process control improvements.
Lead or support capital and operational improvement projects. Develop project scopes, cost estimates, schedules, and technical specifications. Coordinate equipment procurement, installation, commissioning, validation, and startup activities.
Manage project execution to ensure completion within budget and timeline requirements.
Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in Process Hazard Analyses (PHA), Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOP), and risk assessments.
Support audits, inspections, validations, and other regulatory compliance activities.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance to address process-related quality issues and implement improvements.
