Previous experience in site based construction project or from an environmental consulting background would be advantageous for this opportunity.
An understanding of Defence Estate environmental policies and applicable state and territory environmental regulation
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant functional discipline (Environmental Sciences, Marine Sciences or Environmental Engineering)
Proficient in environmental monitoring, inspection, auditing, data collection, and reporting
Knowledge of environmental legislation, regulatory frameworks, approval processes, and industrial compliance
Communication skills with the ability to develop effective internal stakeholder relationships
