General Summary

In conjunction with the Internal Sales Team and Technical Sales Team, drives the overall Company business strategy. Develops and executes sales business plans and strategies to maximize revenue growth, increase market share, and position the company as a strategic supplier to key customers within the defined region.

Responsibilities

Supports Process Engineers in establishing high-yielding, cost-effective processes based on product needs and customer requirements.

Complies with Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.

Set-ups and operates equipment and develops process programs.

With direction from Process Engineers, can execute the design of experiments (DOE), gathering data for analysis.

Uses principles of Cost of Goods Sold and executes process improvements to increase the cost-effectiveness of manufacturing.

Serves as a member of cross-functional project teams.

Ensures Intellectual Property issues are being considered relative to processes being developed.

Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.

Performs additional duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

AS degree in Engineering or Technical Field required; advanced degree preferred.

Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience.

Familiarity with MIL-PRF-38535, MIL-STD-883, ISO9001, and EIA/JEDEC standards.

Strong electro-mechanical aptitude; can identify and resolve complex system problems.

Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.

Must be able to accurately follow written and verbal instructions.

Must be able to multitask, and prioritize projects assigned.

Ability to work in a highly matrixed and diverse business environment.

Prioritizes and meets deadlines in a timely manner.

Understands work environment issues (i.e. OSHA regulations, etc.).

Ability to work independently with little supervision.
